Sunday's best!

Well, today was a great day! Abby went to little kids zone all by herself. She said "I big girl. I be OK!' =( I want her to enjoy... but come on now... don't you need mommy just one more week? Oh well, I get to sit in church and listen to a great sermon and enjoy great music! We had a guy come today to from the Gideons. He was sharing some of the testimonies of lives changed simply by being given a Bible. That is so exciting! I helped Christi with Angel Food today. I haven't done that in what seems like forever! It was enjoyable. We had some supper at mamaw and papaw's house before heading home for the day. Jeff had a meeting out of town for his mission's trip, so hey, why not eat with the fam! =) Abby & Joey had a great time and got REALLY dirty! They found themselves enjoying a trip around the yard pushing Papaw's trailer mover thingy... OK, no comments on that! So, I don't know what it is called. Look at the picture! You can figure it out! =) Bubby ate one meal today super good! That is always exciting. He had like 3 bites left! I was so excited as we are usually lucky to get him to take three bites! Well, off to prep for another busy day tomorrow!!!

Times that light your day....

You know, I don't often post pictures of me on my blog... however, this one just made me stop and smile today. This picture was actually taken a few days ago, but it is a daily routine. Every morning, Abby and I snuggle together in the recliner trying to wake up... me, I've been up all night with one or the other... her, not a morning person! But, this is the most treasured time of my day! I hold her tight and we just snuggle. Every morning, after we have been sitting there together, she reaches up, rubs my cheek and says "I dust love you so much!" That's enough to get me through my day. She can be a little stinker, but let me tell you, her sweetness far surpasses the stinker in her!

Daddy thought he had the day off!!!!!

Whew! It has been a busy day at the Pfohl house! I'm not kidding! Our original plans changed. We were supposed to take the kids to Riley to see Pulmonary, however, that didn't work out since the doc they see was VERY sick and couldn't come in. Oh well! What better than a day at home, right? Well... some one's back (Jeff) may not agree!!!! I cracked the whip now buddy! Every one was working! We moved the house COMPLETELY around. We got rid of collect all shelves, we put bubby back in his room adding sister too! =) She wanted to sleep in bubby's room and well, her room is always too hot or too cold... so, what can it hurt? By the time they are old enough that sharing a room isn't as good, well, hopefully we'll be moved and settled into a house. So... the day went on! I LOVED IT! I absolutely love getting rid of stuff, moving furniture and cleaning! yep! That's me! So... off we went and away things went! I think that we got every thing done. However, we are turning Abby's old room into a play room... that needs some work. So, tomorrow we will finish! Abby enjoyed helping carry little things... and well, bubby, he just watched Jack's big music show and chased us all around. It was a pretty good day! Abby did have to go to the local doc though. She's got a nasty cough. Whenever she gets sick, with Asthma, she can't kick the cough from the sickness... so, we are trying breathing treatments with the hopes of not having to go to the steroids, per the doc. Abby on steroids is any one's nightmare! She either gets vindictive or you have to peel her off the ceiling! =) Oh well. Whatever comes will be! =)

Is it creativity or too much Dora?

Jeff grabs my attention tonight and well... here was Abby. This is her bathroom stool that she has turned upside down and her some what dismantled toy mop and she is saying "row row row!" This is a seen off of her favorite Dora show where Dora and boots are rowing there way across a chocolate river! Oh my! Her mind is now warped by Dora! Whatever shall I do?? Only to be able to have time to be this creative! =)

Don't try this at home!

Joey says a big BIG thank you to Aleyna for his new keto cheesecake meal! He loves it! =) I must say though, it is an interesting smell... we just smile and say "Yummy!"

Another day under the belt...

Well, I had to chuckle. The title of my post yesterday was "Can I go back to bed?"... Did any one catch on that the same post was posted twice yesterday? OK, well, I think I did need to go back to bed! Ha! Just a symbol of how the day went!!! The day was definitely better today. Nothing major. Joey gained 6 oz!!! Yeah!!!!!!! That's nearly half a pound! Good job Aleyna! You are already fattening him back up! =) We had speech today. Joey was a little stinker and wouldn't eat! I think he's majorly teething though. He's been soooooooooooo grouchy today. His little gums just look so swollen. So, he sucked the butter off of his cheerios and spit them back at us! oh to be able to eat butter on anything that I want! I don't think I'd sacrifice though to be on a keto diet. Too many restrictions... wouldn't be worth the better for me! Abby had a good day today. She always enjoys speech. Joey's ST is Mary so all I heard in the car on the way is "I almost to miss Mary I almost to miss Mary!" =) She's so funny. Both kids see Pulmonary on Friday. Should be a pretty good visit since they are both doing OK right now. Joey has been doing great off of his monitory and O2. Too my surprise, I haven't been to freaked out about it. I was nervous about the exiting of the monitor from our home, but once it was gone, I had peace. So... God does still work miracles! I'm usually a mess about these changes! =) Well, off to bed in hopes not to post this too many times! Night all!

Can I go back to bed??

Oh man! Today was something else. There were two little attitudes in my house that cut loose today! No, not at the same time... we had some ping pong action going on!!!! Ug! I'd get one settled and the next would get set off... then mommy got set off! =) My mood was not all too chipper by the time my husband arrived home today! The family picture was a no go today! That was another disappointment... yep, it was that bad around here! Every one was on there way to bed an hour early tonight! I pushed for two... but we do our best!
Now for some good news.... BUBBY ATE WONDERFULLY TODAY! Sister wanted pancakes for breakfast today... I agreed that we could make pancakes AND bubby got to eat them too! Aleyna got us a recipe and meal set up for Keto pancakes! =) Yep! You heard it right! So... he LOVED THEM!!! He just ate and ate... then for supper, he got to try his new keto cheesecake meal. Well, he loved that even more! We finally had to stop him because we were afraid he was going to get sick since he doesn't normally eat that much. Let's just say, he's never ate more than 12 grams of food at supper and the grand weight for tonight's supper... 83.3 grams! Whew!!! That's one way to fatten up there bud! =) I was so excited to see him eating so well! Very exciting!

Well, here's hoping for a good nights sleep and a better day tomorrow!!

Bid you good-bye!

Alright! Not that easy to get rid of me! My parents took off today for a rally in Washington, Indiana. So, we gladly met them at IHOP for a farewell lunch! The kids absolutely enjoyed the motor home! Ha! Joey had never been in it and let me tell you... he was all about it!! He loved the front dash. He climbed right up there and was into every thing! Abby... well, she sure loves it. This was a re-visit for her. It's always fun to get to watch them take pleasure in things like this! Mom and dad enjoyed themselves too. Tomorrow, we go to get our family portrait done at Walmart. I (not Jeff =) am very excited about it! I love to get all dressed up as a family for a good picture. I'm thinking about doing multiple outfits and poses for the kids. WE don't get to get theirs done as often because bubby usually isn't up to long stands like that. So... we are all healthy and on our way! =)

Long time coming....

I'm back! You betcha!!! I'm never gone for too long. Jeff's wireless has been down on his laptop and let me tell you, blogging on dial up... DON'T EVER GO THERE!!!!!!!!!! It is enough to make the strongest person stumble!!! =) Anyways, it's been a pretty good weekend. Every one has been healthy, a little sleep deprived, but hey... we can over come that! Saturday, we went to the health fair at the Muncie Children's museum. I'm not sure who had more fun, Jeff or Abby. It was very exciting. The kids got lots of free things and mommy got over whelmed with information! Whew! It was a neat experience though. There are a lot of things out there for special needs families and a lot of programs or assistance that you can get equipment or rehab from if you have a child with handicaps. So, it was an informative and fun morning... however, very CROWDED!!! I don't know about all that. =) Then, we were off to Farmland for an outreach. This is the first out door outreach me and the kids have been able to go on and it was very refreshing doing this together. We enjoyed getting to spend that time with Greg and Becky as well. Abby had so much fun getting to go to the doors. She carried the little gift bags herself and when some one would open the door she'd declare "Pesent fur you!" Too sweet. I was absolutely touched by this one little old man. He opened his door and when he saw Abby standing there, his face just lit up. He couldn't thank us enough. You know, we weren't able to actually tell him the gospel, but I believe he saw Jesus that day. He saw Jesus in the face of a smiling little girl who couldn't wait to share with him something that she had no idea she was really giving. I believe he got a hug from papa that day! As we walked away, he stood there still smiling and holding that little gift bag. One day, he may be in heaven because a little girl knocked on his door. You know, we don't always have to go out and slam people with the word, or be a marvelous speaker, some times a smile is just enough to break through to some one's heart. I was touched by that and I know that little old man will never forget that moment. I'm so thankful for the family that God gave me and I'm thankful for the desire my little girl has to tell people about the Jesus she so very much loves!

It's been an exciting day...

We started the day off with much fun! The boys lounged in the recliner and the girls cooked breakfast... however, daddy had to come to mommy's rescue of the pancakes! I can never get that batter just right! Big turkey! Always has to out due me on pancakes!! =)
Then... Off to cleaning we went! We cleaned out our fire place today of which the Shop vac decided to back fire and spray ashes EVERY WHERE!! That was serious entertainment. Whew!
Next came the sand box... we got our sand today!!!
Bubby wasn't too sure at all about the sand. A bit too much texture for his desires! However, sister... look out now! No holding her back! She was all about it... and yes... if you were wondering, we did put more sand in! The picture looks a bit skimpy! Ab couldn't wait until daddy was done filling it. She had to get in there NOW!!! =) She kept looking up going "Now, I like dis!" =) Ha!

Then came planting the English Ivy outside... They were both in on that! Abby had fun carrying the Ivy plants out to the yard. She kept saying "I bein' tareful!" Oh she was just absolutely too cute! When Abby was little like bubby, she would never ever touch dirt... not bub! He was in it up to his elbows! He tried to taste it too... I think he even wanted to bite a worm! Ug! All boy...

Speaking of worm... then came the worm!!!! Yep, you bet! They found a worm. Abby was apprehensive at first, but decided this wasn't too bad of a deal... Then, she chased her brother with it! Yep, he was running from her. However, Later... He did try to eat the worm. Yep, no thinking about it... he had it in his hand and on his way to his mouth! Luckily mommy can scream! I scared him as I screeched "No" running for him... he dropped that worm faster than you can think! I was thankful! No kid of mine is allowed to sample worms!
After all this excitement was over, Mamaw, Papaw and Aunt Kisti came over for a cook out. We had a fun evening together. Unfortunately... I didn't have the camera out! I was charging my batteries! =( Got a little picture happy today I guess! Hope you all enjoy!

MIA

Well, I have been MIA. Not feeling too hot these days. Seems that being tired and dealing with little noses doesn't do much for keeping you healthy... so I've been down for the count. It's been a busy few days with follow up appointments, looking for a new doctor, working through Therapy changes, etc etc... I'm certainly ready to be back in the swing of feeling good! Abby is doing surprisingly well with her glasses. She doesn't complain much, however, she's running me out of Windex! Dirty mommy! Clean them! That's all I do these days... clean two tiny little lenses! Oh well. I'd rather be doing that then her not be able to see right now. Bubby, well, he's doing OK. Still not eating as we'd hope. But, he has more good days than he does bad days. That's a praise! Well, I didn't want you to wonder if the Pfohl's had dropped off. We are still here! Back later!

Hard to wrap your mind around....

You know, Joey is really bouncing back. It is hard for me to wrap my mind around the reality of every thing I have read. With Mito... you aren't supposed to bounce back quick from sickness and it usually takes something out of you. Well, Joey is on the rebound and better than ever!! Let me tell you, a good friend and mentor (pastor Don) e-mailed something to me that just really hits home with Joey and with reality. =) Quoted exactly as he wrote "There is a name that is above every name. It is above the name "mitochondrial." You know the name. You live for the name. You live because of the name. Every knee must bow to the name. Mitochondrial must bow its knee to the name of Jesus Christ." Tonight, Joey has been into every thing... including my kitchen counters... He's standing, he's walking holding onto furniture and even using one of those training walkers that you stand behind and push... He has managed to attack my laundry room and even put a toy in the dryer! So... Joey says, look out world, I got Jesus on my team and there is nothing holding me back! =) I tell you, that little man has so much spunk! ... OK, on a less serious note... Joey's drawers have some serious issues with staying up! Ha! OK, any one, who does that remind you of!?!?!?! =) I think Papaw would be the word for that! OK, I'm out of here before I get myself in trouble!

The glasses are in!

Well, I got the call first thing this a.m. that Abby's glasses had arrived... so Aunt Christi and I made a trip to Indy today to pick them up! Abby was very excited until she realized that the prescription made her feel funny... that girl has some strong lenses! Whew. She seems to be adjusting quickly though. She complains they bother her some, but we will get there. =) I think she took them off a thousand times and I can't tell you how many times I found them laying lens side down on the kitchen counter! We got a good chuckle though... My sister had glasses about this age and well, Abby is a spitting image of Aunt Christi... Makes her look just like Aunt Christi's little girl pictures! =) Too precious!

On a happy note as well, Joey and Abby are feeling MUCH better today. Lots of giggles back in the house today! That is always a wonderful thing to hear especially after every one has been grouchy! =) Germies need to go away and stay away!! Anyways, things are back to their usual. Joey is eating again... 13 cheerios down the hatch tonight and yep... he ate his butter to balance out those carbs! =) He likes to have the butter (part of a keto diet for those of you wondering why I give our son butter with cheerios!) on top of his cheerios. Ha! Sounds interesting! Abby is wearing big girl panties these days. =) Only one accident today! Yeah!!!

On a sad note, we said good-bye to Aleyna tonight. She is our dietitian. She'll still be Joey's dietitian, but she'll be far away. =( We'll miss her!

Well, night all!

Wonderful Monday....

I am excited about this Monday! I get to announce to you that I have lost another five pounds! High five to myself!!! =) So, that puts me at a total loss of 10 lbs. now. I'm on my way!!

Keto Fries....

Well, Joey had a go at his Keto Fries today (Zucchini cut into fries and deep fried). He can't have tatoes because of the carbs... so, we simply substitute! I can't say that they are my favorite and well, they kind of gross me out... but he sure tore into them tonight!!!! Go bubby!!!! He was an absolute mess when he got done. He is still having trouble chewing right now... but he sure got into the mess of things with out much to be concerned about! What a handsome man! He is getting so big! I can't believe that he is nine months old and quickly nearing 10 mths!!!! Oh my goodness!
Abby and Joey are both a bit better today. Still sick, but hanging right in there. I will be glad when this crazy weather gets its mind made up! All this up and down is almost worse than the flu season!!!!

Thursday, April 12, 2007

What a dumby!!!!!

OK, word to the wise... DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER eat popcorn when you have a sore throat! I shared a bag with Abby tonight and well, I feel as though I swallowed a knife! Egad! It hurts! OK, for all of you crazy people like me, I just wanted to give you a warning... DON'T DO IT! It doesn't taste good enough to endure the pain... trust me... I love popcorn... I'll never ever do it again! =)

My batteries are dead....

Don't be shocked. I know it is unlike me to have two posts in a row with no pictures... I truly am sorry! My stinky batteries are dead... Sorrow and remorse! OK, enough of that. We had an exciting day today. Abby picked out her glasses! It was hysterical! She knew exactly what she wanted and buddy, you were not getting them off of her face! Ha! We had to bribe her to get her out the door with out them so that they could put the lenses in! Little stinker! I'm telling you what! I couldn't believe how attached she got. She picked out a cute little pink pair that had Disney princesses on them... AND bonus now! She gets a Disney princess purse to match! I never get any thing like that with my glasses! What on earth is this about!?!?!?! She was just way too cute in them! We pick them up next week. Bubby had a series of seizures, so we were freaking out about that. We saw our friend & Dietitian today who got to see that bubby was a bit floppy. This is typical of seizure activity for him. So... we made a visit to Nuero before leaving Riley and had to make a call tonight because the activity was continuing so strong. Hopefully with the med adjustment they made... we'll get to stay home and level out here soon! Well, all sleep well and sweet dreams! I'm laying in Abby's room who was awakened by an asthma attack again. Poor girl! Hopefully she and I will both be back to sweet dreams again soon.

Let's pretend it is Monday...

I don't often say that... but I forget to give you my Monday update! =) I lost a pound! Wahoo!!! So, my total now is five. =) OK, now we can go back to Tuesday! Happy Tuesday every one!

Monday, April 9, 2007

Terrible twos...

Today has been a terrible two day... I think bubby thought he was two as well. Into EVERY THING! The both of them wore me out today and let me tell you, I think I could have recorded the word no and played it over and over and it STILL WOULDN'T have been enough to calm the day!!!! So... we solved it! I broke out the dry beans! I put them in a bowl and I let them go to town. I had beans every where!!! Oh well... It gave me a brief moment of peace!

The kids had so much fun for Easter. They loved all their little outfits that they were given from family members (we don't do candy for bubby's sake... besides... it's just not healthy for any of us!) So, at mamaw and papaw's house, they proudly paraded their new outfits. However, bubby was not glad to be in a fashion show. The boy likes to be naked and you just better believe, he NEVER puts an outfit on willingly... doesn't matter the outfit, he's not going to wear it with out putting up a fight! You wouldn't know he had poor muscle tone when he decides it's his way or the high way! They were both very excited for Easter to come! It is always a joy to see the excitement in their eyes! =)
Just a quick update... Abby see's opthomology on Wednesday. Her left eye has been turning inward and she's been complaining her head hurts. Bubby has both OT, ST & PT this week. Should be interesting to see how he does. Makes for a long week when he has them all. Then he has an Echo on Friday at Riley... we have to say a sad good bye to our Aleyna! (bubby's dietitian, oh and I'm still not happy about this move, but I'm happy for you!) OK... sorry... little personal note there. We have a week packed full of excitement! On a good note, bubby at chunks of food today. He had Vienna sausages and cheerios! That's a huge step for only being able to normally eat pureed food! Go bubby go!!!!! OK, well enough of the Pfohl's!

Happy Easter!

I have all kinds of adorable pictures to share from today, but tonight, I feel a bit sober. I wasn't able to go to church today because Abby was running a fever. So, we stayed home ad had fun just the three of us. Jeff shared with me that lots of people either gave their life to Christ or recommitted their lives to Christ this weekend during our three services at FFC. Tonight, I have been thinking a lot about that. I gave my life to Christ at a very early age and so following Christ sometimes becomes a practice as apposed to a relationship. I know I am supposed to be good and live my life different, but there is more to being a Christian than just being good and just "following' Christ. There is a longing in God's heart to be near us. You know, Easter is a fun time.. .bunnies... CHOCOLATE... egg hunts... CHOCOLATE... crafts... CHOCOLATE... (OK, I like chocolate!) But we often forget, it is a celebration of life, and the ultimate sacrifice! God gave up His son for us! He let Him die on a cross because of one thing... HE WANTED TO MAKE A PATHWAY SO THAT WE COULD BE WITH HIM! There is no one in this world I love enough to give up one of my children for. I can't even imagine! Not to mention, He gave up His son KNOWING that so many of us would deliberately reject Him be it through our words, our actions, our thoughts, or even our desires. His ONE TRUE desire is to be with YOU. I don't feel worthy of that kind of love. But, I don't have to be worthy... I'm worthy because I'm God's special girl as any one reading this is... we are all precious and ever so beautiful in His sight! I was reading tonight in Song of songs... Which is actually the book of Song of Solomon and it is the most passionate book of the Bible. It's so passionate that in the old days, the Jews wouldn't let their children read it until they were 13 or 14 years of age, but it's in the Bible and you know why I think that it is... because God is a PASSIONATE GOD! Chapter 5 and verse 6 says "I opened for my lover, but my lover had left; he was gone. My heart sank at his departure. I looked for him but did not find him. I called him but he did not answer." God looks for us every single day. He opens up to us and calls to us with the deepest love we could ever ever know... but do we answer? There are days I know that I do not answer His call and it grieves my heart to know that God's heart sinks when I do not answer Him. I want to walk each day with God because heaven knows, He is my only hope and my only strength! I feel sober tonight because I know that God is calling me... He's asking me to come and sit with Him, talk with Him, build a relationship with Him... I feel that deep longing and it makes me long to answer... so my answer tonight is... "Hey papa! Here I am! Take me in, Hold me, Love me and make me your very own!" So, is God opening the door to you? Is He calling your name? I would say that He is. You are His son or daughter! So... are you going to answer?

It's snowing...

When your husband looks at you and says "If April showers are supposed to bring May flowers, what does April flurries bring?"... Uhh... Does that mean he thinks too much? I love my husband! Always good for a chuckle! Can you believe all this snow and it's April!
Today has been a rat race. Abby was extremely lethargic this a.m. and laid in the chair holding her chest saying "My chest hurt mommy" I called the doctor and got her in. It's unlike Abby to complain of pain. Abby has had an abnormal EKG but a fairly normal Echo. So, we thought things were fine, but the doc has some concerns... so it is off to a cardiologist. This could very well even be something related to her asthma, so we'll see what pans out. She has lost more weight herself. I just worry about her. She's my little boney girl!

We arrived home to a pleasant surprise! There was a package from Pennsylvania! We have some family who lives out there (My brother) and they sent Easter blessings! Abby and Joey couldn't tear open the box fast enough! They were so excited! Abby got a new sippy cup of which she tore open screaming, "I need milk in dis now!" =) She's so funny! Bubby got a spider man hat that we had to put on right away! Made him mad! We didn't let him inspect it first! Poor guy!

Bubby had speech therapy this afternoon and we had a breakthrough... he ate!!! we tried a new spoon and well, it worked! He ate and ate! we ran straight to Wal-Mart to get some new spoons and wouldn't you know... he ate supper too! Yeah bubby!!!

We did our Easter tonight as this weekend is going to be filled with much activity. They were overwhelmed with excitement! It was too funny. Joey got so excited his little arms were just a waiving and he kept bouncing up and down on his butt! Ha! I couldn't stop laughing!!! It is so funny how both kids react so differently. Both extremely excited, but both totally different! Bubby tried to check out Abby's stuff and she kept swatting him saying "Don't touch bub! Dis my pesent!" =) She's a hoot!

Who turned the air conditioner on?

OK, did some one forget it was April? A brand new sandbox showed up at our house yesterday and wouldn't you know... IT IS SNOWING IN APRIL! Hmm... Daddy put it together tonight minus the sand! =) Abby kept saying "When my sand coming?" Ha! She's a nut! Daddy had plenty of help putting the sand box together. It took him an extra half an hour longer to get it done... but hey, the kids had fun! =) Pretty exciting!

I have had it up to here.....

Yep... Joey has expressed it well & yes, he did this himself! It was not a pose!! I think Joey is stating that he has had enough Easter! However, I am stating that I realized today that I have had enough of not feeling good. Jeff and I started a Daniel Fast yesterday. I tell you, I didn't realize how much junk I was putting in my body! I went through real with drawls. Headache, nausea, sweating, shakiness... you name it... I was there! My head hurt so bad this morning that I couldn't even read! Yep... that is true! This brought serious conviction to me along with the fact that as I drove down McGallaird (main road in Muncie for those of you out of towners who are reading! =) My daughter was in the backseat of the car pointing at restaurants naming what we get to eat there and begging me to stop. I am not eating to just affect my own life, but my kids as well. I'm teaching them my ways. So, I prayerfully ended my fast today. On the grounds that change will be ever present in our lives! WE will commit to eat healthy, commit to make right choices... I was so proud of myself. I absolutely love McDonald's fries. Abby hadn't ate any supper and for lack of a better place to get her something tonight, I gave in. I didn't even desire to smell her fries let alone eat them! Neither did she! She likes the sandwiches and the toy! Ha! I was so happy with myself. This was a true test for me... my heart is in this and I want to do it to bring God glory, strengthen my family and teach my children that you can be healthy and satisfied. =) So... I'm in this! Keep me in your prayers because there are always going to be struggles!

On a lighter yet more ouchy note... Joey got his first shiner yesterday. Poor guy. He was trying so hard to pull up at the T.V. and he fell instead smacking his little cheek bone on the cabinet door handle! poor Guy!!! He didn't know what hit him!

The kids enjoyed waking daddy up! You don't try to sleep in with Abby and Joey around! Ha! That's a great attempt. Not going to happen!!!!

Monday, April 2, 2007

Can we skip to Tuesday?

OK, my Monday started out very disappointing... I got on the scales. Unfortunately, I gained a pound this week. In considering this, Jeff and I had a long talk today. The reality is, food controls our lives and it isn't right. So, we have decided together, we are getting things out of our lives that makes us unhealthy. We are doing this together, so when you see us, ask us how we are doing! This isn't about weight loss or looking good, but it is about being healthy for each other, our children, our extended family, our church.. you name it... we need to do this! So... we begin again!

Sunday, April 1, 2007

I so tired....

Well, today, I declare... I SO TIRED!!! =) OK, so I'm talking like my 2 year old daughter now! That's living proof I'm tired!!! I tried so hard to sleep in this a.m. but it didn't happen. Bubby only let me get 2 hrs. sleep tonight. I wanted to go to church today, but I was absolutely afraid to drive. It takes about 20 min. to get to FFC from our house... I decided that since the last two days, I have had to fight sleep on the way home, I wasn't even trying it today. I got a lot accomplished around the house. As you can see, the kids enjoyed the vaccum!!! I think both kids were glad to be home today. They played like crazy! It was nice. I scrubbed my kitchen, put away some straggling Christmas decor that had been left on the mantle... yep, I still had some stragglers!!!! =) I know, that's pretty laim! I can't help it. Decorations are usually the last thing on my mind right now. Then I cooked supper and put it in the refrigerator to bake later. Mom and dad met us for lunch today here in town. That was fun! I forgot my camera! =( Bummer!!! Sorry Mamaw and Papaw! The kids absolutely were glad to see them. It's been a bit. Mom andd dad gave the kids $2.oo bills today, so of course, Abby demanded to stop at Target on the way home. She picked out a Dora watering can and picked to .99 cars for bubby! He was pleased! My rose even got watered today! Thanks Abby! =) Then tonight, we met Mamaw Pfohl here at our house and made her supper for her birthday. Abby was her usual show off for everyone! All giggles and wound so tight she couldn't even sit! Bubby, he enjoyed going from person to person for lovin's and play time. =) Too cute! Mamaw Pfohl gave the kids their Easter baskets tonight. I was surprised, bubby had his all dug out and playing before sister even touched hers! Ha! That's one for the records! All in all, it was a good day... I laid Abby down tonight at 8:05 and she was out by 8:08!!! =) Yeah! I get some relaxation time myself! Maybe I'll go to bed early! =)
