A busy Sunday...

Don't you just love the rat race of Sunday mornings? Out of desperation, my daughter had "Mashin tatoes" (pronounced by her exactly as spelled.) Anyways, we got out the door only to realize that she was distraught and her comes her teacher from little kids zone running to bring her back to me. She missed daddy and well... life has just been crazy with the move. Poor baby. What happens to daddy while I'm upstairs with Abby? He's pacing the halls with Joey. Hmm... welcome back from your missions trip daddy! Oh well. It's been a bit psychotic around here today. So, after church, mommy realized that she forgot Joey's thickener... this is a bad thing because Joey absolutely can not drink liquids that aren't thickened. So, it is unnecessarily use his Gtube, or drive back to my parents to get thickener... In the car we went! Then it was a race! we were meeting Jeff's family at Ryan's for dinner tonight... so we had to get back to the church to take the van back to the rental place that they used for the missions trip... then we had to get to the restaurant. So... guess what? We made it with 5 minutes to spare! =) That is a look into the Pfohl family Sunday. Ha! Well, here's hoping for a calm day tomorrow! We Sign the closing papers for our trailer! Yeah!!!! I'm very excited! Then, hopefully by Wednesday we'll be moving into our new place.

When Mama speaks...

...You BETTER listen! =) Well, this week, we are staying with my parents until our house is open and available. I tell ya, this week has been filled with so many emotions and my mom and I had a good ol' heart to heart talk today. I have been EXTREMELY focused on the struggles of my week and it has robbed me of seeing the blessings. The blessings of my own baby experiencing yet another miracle... WALKING. He has been walking ENTIRE rooms now! No stopping... very little stumbling... JUST GOING (something he apparently isn't supposed to be able to do). Then, he had problems with his intestinal stuff this week and for the first time EVER... it resolved itself and we DIDN'T have to go to Riley. That has NEVER happened. Then, tonight in the truck on the way to the church to pick up Jeff, Bubby started babbling. All he ever says is "ah" and he's been learning sign language to tell us what he wants. So... that was an amazing thing. He was just babbling all kinds of sounds! So exciting! Much like when Peter stepped out of the boat to walk on the water with Jesus, I didn't focus on the hand that holds me up this week... I focused on the storm. So, I'm thankful for the wake up my mama gave me this week. God has been at work in the midst of every thing. There are so many other blessings that have come this week that I see now and well... "I lift my eyes up to the heavens..."

Relocating...

Well, we have a new home in line now. We will be renting for now. I'm very relieved. The house is cute. So, we'll be excited to move in and live closer to friends and family. We will be moving in Aug. 1st. They are going to be packing up our trailer at 6 p.m. on Thurs. and we'll be living with my parents until we get the keys to the new place. So, should be good. =) Mom and dad's nerves may be a bit frazzled when we are all done. ha! We are appreciative of the support and love. Thanks guys!

Worn to a frazzle...

Well, today posed to be interesting. Jeff is in New Orleans right now, so I have been packing like crazy and the bomb hit today. The loan on the house was turned down because Jeff has only been at the church a year. I FREAKED OUT! The guy selling was willing to lease for a year but he was going to charge us nearly $200 more than what we would have paid getting a loan... so we wouldn't have gotten any where anyways... So, we told him no and well... he blew his top. He was not happy with us. I'm not sure but what God wasn't simply protecting us. Dad said today that he felt that there were more problems with the house than what he was telling us... Anyways, we pulled out of the deal because Jeff and I both felt ill feelings about the whole deal. Jeff finally called him from New Orleans because I was getting NO Where and then dad went with me to pick up our deposit from the contract. I was thankful for dad being there. Anyways, we have a house that we are looking at in the morning that comes open on the 1st of Aug. I hate looking with Jeff gone, but he wants me to move forward so that kids can get settled asap. So, off we go! I think that we are going to be very happy with this place. I drove by it tonight and well, it's a cute house. It's nice to because this family is a friend. So, we will be much better off. Please pray as we are now living at my parents for a week unti lwe can move in. The house has to be empty before we get the new place... but that's ok. =) We'll make do. We have lots of support from friends who are bringing inclosed trailers and have garage space. So... off we go! Talk to you all later.

Our weekend...

WE are still packing like crazy although we have no word yet on a new house. Aaahhhh!!! I figure that God is more than able. He knows the situation... so we are waiting.... We were excited to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary this weekend. Congrats you two!

The kids absolutely loved it! They had so much fun. we had a cook out and camp fire to celebrate. Abby especially enjoyed cleaning the corn that the Frost family shared with us! Thanks guys! It tasted AWESOME! Joey, well, he seemed to be a little weight contentious. Ha! Abby and Joey found themselves infatuated with a pool-noodle war! ha! Mommy was a bit overwhelmed and I think had a few lumps to show for the noodle war! Oh dear!!!

Joey is really becoming a walker... He certainly isn't graceful yet... but you know... HE'S DOING IT. We didn't know if we'd ever get to see that but we sure have. So we are thrilled. Who needs graceful! =) Well, here's to hoping for a good word on our home today!
