Whoops!!!!

I had a scheduling error!!! This week is not the CRAZY week. I only have to go to Riley once and Muncie twice! So, the week is normal. No three trips to Riley this week! I'm so tired right now I think I am struggling to keep my head in the game. So... shh... I accidently told a fib! I tell you, life is starting to catch up with me and my body doesn't like it. I often think I'm getting baby fever and then I remember how tired I am and the fever quickly fades. God gives us the strength to face each day though! I am sorry that my blogging has been sparse. Life has just gone nuts. I will work on being back more! Hope you all have had a great weekend!

I'm exhausted! We just returned home from the hospital with Abby. Spring is here!!!!

Ok, so I'm all excited that spring begins today until I opened my door... I slipped on ice as I walked out and I couldn't open my van because it was frozen shut! Ug! So, here is voting that spring ends this crazy winter weather! I'd rather not wear a snow suit for Easter Sunday! We are off to Riley. Appointments at 9, 10, 1045, 115 and 2. Aunt sherri and I will be leap frogging to make the day happen! Whew! Ok, so anyway, hope you all have a great day! I'm going to come home and SLEEP!!!! Poor Jeff was up all night between the two kids so staff, if you are reading this... STEER clear of Mr. Pfohl today! =)

Bummer!

Hey guys! Don't leave me! I'm still around! Miss Abby had her unfortunate first official sick stay at Riley. Blogging took the back burner. The first day, she was too sick for me to leave her side and the second day, well... she was a bit scared and even during naps, there was no way I was leaving! More blogs coming your way! Night all. Ag Days....

Well, Jeff and I went to Ag days for the first time this year. We thought the kids would REALLY enjoy it... well, one kid did... JOEY. The other, she shook as we passed each animal! It was not a good shaking either... TERRIFIED. I finally convinced her she was safe at a distance so bubby could enjoy. He thought the HUGE cow was the best! He had a balloon tied to his stroller and the cow was batting it with his tail. He was belly laughing he thought it was so funny! Well, we finished up, got every one loaded in the van and my princess of a daughter looks up and says "Daddy, thanks, but can we go to the mall now where there are NO pooping cows." Ha! I thought I was going to crack a rib laughing!! Poor dear! So, what did we do... we went to the mall. They road the merry-go-round and looked through Old Navy. After that, we had to stop at Wal-Mart for diapers and princess got her first real purse. She has been sporting it ever since! oh my goodness! My kids truly are the light of my life!

Dishes must always be done before bed! (Ok, so seriously, Joey has an obsession with the dishwasher! After getting this pan out, he sat in it to unload more! Ha! Crazy boy!!!

The best day...

Today was the best day we have had in a long time. Honestly, I can say that it was hard for me to contain my emotions at points during the day. The kids got to go skating today with the Randolph County home school group. Joey was having some problems before we went, So, I was terrified to go. But, i did something I have never done before... I threw caution to the wind. The kids both had so much fun they couldn't stand themselves. Not often do I feel like my kids did "normal" kid stuff, but today they did! They smiled, they laughed and they had more fun than they have ever had. It was a joy to watch and I pray we have MANY MANY more fun days like today! Growing big!

I haven't blogged much this week, so, I thought I'd throw on a few pictures of my cuties that are getting so BIG!!! This has been one of those weeks that emotions are hard and I am struggling to stay on top of "Trusting" that God is in control. Nothing major has happened... just one of those weeks I realize the diagnosis is bigger than my power and thoughts some times get the best of me. I can't believe that in 4 short months, Joey will be two. Miss Abby is a big three and such a helper too! She helps take care of bubby and this week, she's been learning to wash and set the table! Big girl! Mr. Joey sat on the potty for the first time this week. No go, but he sat there and was proud to do so! Hope every one has a wonderful night.

Farkle....

Well, it is official... I have been lead to the addicting game of Farkle. The Lotts came over tonight and well... we played... Never touched the game before and I won BOTH ROUNDS!!!!! Wahoo! Too bad we both had kids who needed to go to bed. I was ready for more! =) The funny thing is, the 2nd round, I came out of no where and I won! Yeah!!! I was so excited. See, this all comes from something called BAGGAGE... last night, my dear husband wanted to play 500 Rum with me, so I agreed. The first game, he left me in his tracks... the second game... I had him and out of no where, the man scored a 235 point game... and beat me by 15 POINTS!!!! I was fuming! No grace for me what so ever! His poor, sweet, wonderful, caring wife! =) So, tonight.... GOTCHA BACK BABY!!!!

Praise him!!

Today, I was reminded that God inhabits the Praises of His people. I started to look at life and I started to look at what is around us and I realize... how much do praise HIM through the day? How much do I stop to recognize that God is in control... How much do I stop and realize that HE is the GREAT I AM... Then I found myself feeling ashamed. I don't do that a lot. I pray and I cry out to Him for strength, but I don't stop to praise HIM to worship HIM to love HIM with a love that can not be put out. So, today, I'm working towards that. I want to live a life of praise. When life stinks, I want to praise, When life is wonderful, I want to praise. I want God to be the total center of my life. I hunger for that. I hunger to be whole and to be one with Him and live in HIS presence. If it means putting the CD player on repeat for the entire day, I'm in... I want God to be here. I want His presence to be felt. I want my life to shine that God is in me and I in Him! So, today, my focus is praise. I'll praise Him because I love Him!
