Joey has taken to eating tables... Hmm... is that on a ketogenic diet? Abby, well, apparently she has decided to add superman ice cream on her list of lipstick colors! Whew!

We started our day bright and early today with Joey’s home monitor going off. He had three alarms this morning. For those of you who don’t know how the monitor works, it is set to go off after 20 sec. of not breathing, when his heart rate drops below 60 or rises above 190. Joey’s alarms this morning were for the breathing. Each one was longer and scarier. He was, however, breathing, so we were thankful. The monitors often pick up shallow breathing as not breathing at all. We are assuming that is the case today. To be cautious though, with our visit to Riley today for both kids with pulmonary, they are going to order a download of the recordings from his monitor. Also, they are going to do an OPCG here at the house to see if he’s able to come off the O2 yet. I pray that he is! He hates it and it irritates his little face so bad. As for Abby, she received a good report. For her, they are going to send her for a sleep study. They want to ensure that she doesn’t have any remaining obstruction or that she hasn’t developed Central sleep apnea. We aren’t sure yet when this is scheduled, but we will find out shortly! We enjoyed getting to see Aleyna today. She is our dietician! She is just great! She absolutely loves our kids and it’s always so fun to see her. Abby calls her “Leyna”. Abby just thinks she is the greatest… but we do too. =)

The kids enjoyed playing together with daddy tonight in Abby’s room. Abby said “Take bubby room. Share.” Too cute! She’s actually starting to get it! Sharing is much more fun! (Ok, most days!) Joey is continuing to try to crawl. He really really wants to do it. Don’t touch those hands though! He’ll pull right up and make you let him stand! He never wants to sit any more. That’s great though. He is a fighter and nothing slows him down. He gets frustrated if he can’t do something, but I think it will be strength because I have watched that frustration make him push harder!!
