I am so digusted right now!!! My stomach is turning!!!! My dear husband just called to announce that while in New orleans... he ate cow tongue!!!! He was the ONLY ONE brave enough to do it! Sick man! Yuck! oh, I still love him... but he didn't do much for my appetite for lunch today! Yuck!!!! So, there you go... that is my update on New Orleans for today!!!!!!!

He found the cow tongue to be rather tasty! Matter a fact, he's thinking about having a cow tongue taco for lunch tomorrow... eeww
Everytime we butcher, the packing house tries to put that nasty tongue in our half of beef. I always just give it back. (I won't even touch the package). I guess I found someone to give it to. LOL

I LOVE COW TONGUE!!!! Pickled, or not, it tastes GREAT! Haven't had it in forever. Lauren loved it when she was little. I bet she would gag now if she remembered what she ate.

I have heard that tongue is really good...but I'm not trying it! We usually give ours to the dogs...but now I guess I'll have to call Sue.
