day 5 and holding...

Well, we are still at Riley right now. Joey has continued to show steps of improvement. I tell you, we have been really worried about him. He is gaining strength, beginning to eat well and even starting to play a bit more. Our goal is to possibly stop the IV fluids tomorrow and then maybe go home on Thursday. Joey just is having moments when he's just not all there and seems to not really be observant of what is going on around him. That is concerning still to the doc, so he's wanting to see that improve. We have been encouraged by the e-mails and the phone calls. Thank you! Hopefully we will be back home soon! We are all very tired.
