A day at the 1 Fun Farm

Mommy and Aunt "Kisti" took the kids over to the fun farm here in town. We had a pretty good time. We ran into "The friends" as Abby would say (Toby and Dora!) We enjoyed ourselves. Here are some pictures to show you the kind of trouble we got into....

Awesome!!!! "The friends" grandma took them today, that is so cool that they ran into you guys. It gave me an afternoon with no little voices. I almost didn't know what to do with myself...wait, yes I did...I spent it sewing...fun. It looks like it was fun for everyone.

this reminds me of where we took you guys when you were little to that pumpkin farm over by columbus! Remembering what you liked when you were that age, you would have rolled and rolled in the "corn box".... and of course you would have had to have fed some goats. I remember at the zoo in ft. wayne when all the goats attacked you for food and all we could see were two little red tennis shoes sticking out from under a pile of goats. Oh yes. and you always would wrap at least one arm and one leg in one of those big stretchy ace banadages and pretend to limp all day. It was your thing for at least a year. You played doctor all the time. Oh for one more day of it. Enjoy every minute of your babies. Pretty soon they will be taking their babies to the pumpkin farm and you will be remissing of your "good old days" when "they" were little. they grow up fast. Oh yes, and be careful because the crickets might see you. Remember that one? ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!

After thinking about what I wrote you, I thought there might be somebody who would be interested in just what "be careful, the crickets might see you" is all about!?!? It was October and you were about 3 or 4 years old and Mike and Christi were probably 11 & 14'ish..... We all loaded up to go out into the country and toilet paper uncle Terrys house. I was driving the "get away" car.... so we parked along that old country road and mike and christi and the fink kids were on their way up the road to attack uncle terrys trees with the toilet paper and soap and "tick-tackers". You had to potty and we suggested the side ditch as your main option. You were so upset about it that you said "I can't potty in the side ditch! The crickets might see me!" thus.... I had to get those onery kids back into the car so I could drive you home where you could no longer fear crickets and use your own bathroom. So.... I get you out of the car and we start sneaking down the road to get the kids and go home. Meanwhile, your dad has called uncle Terry and told him we were coming and for a joke.... he's hiding behind the bushes and if I'm not mistaken, he scared the pajeebers out of mike and christi and they come racing back down the road toward us and I got so tickled that I lost the keys in the side ditch and we had no get away car and no flash lights for the search. By my recollection, I'm not sure if we all returned home "dry".

You have to LOVE me. I'm the mama!!!

sorry honey. no more of the "CLASSICS" will be revealed by these lips. I personally love to think back to all those hysterical good times we had. Every mom has tons of stories about their kids. Its one of the best things in life.

Well, happens to be as a mom I am starting to understand why those embarrassing stories are so easy to tell. So... I suppose I'll forgive you! =) oh, and by the way... I don't beleive that the "classics" won't be told... you might as well apologize now... YOU'LL TELL!

Mindy, remind me to never introduce you to my mom, not sure what kind of stories she would tell on me, but I am definitely tuning in to see what other stories your mom tells about you...
