If you have ever been to my house, you know this lovely bottle very well! This is our Thickening agent we use for every form of liquid that Joey takes in. While in Cincinnati at our last appointment, Dr. Borrow says "So, what happens if I hand him a glass of water with out this stuff in it?" In the past, we said "he chokes and it goes in his lungs." But today, we say "nothing, he drinks it!" The last two days, Joey has been thickener free! Usually he chokes, gurgles, gets it in his lungs or causes him to vomit... the last two days... clear as a bell! No signs what so ever of aspiration!!! yeah Joey!!!! Just thought I'd share! :) God is doing this before our eyes! One step at a time and ONE day at a time... we see more and more to say that God holds our two little angels in his hands ever so tightly!!!
